Cinnamon rolls or cinnamon buns are said to have originated in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, spreading to Medieval Europe and all over the world. For me, this delicacy originated in my grandmother’s kitchen. The aroma and taste of warm, spicy melt- in -your- mouth baked goodness of cinnamon buns has never failed to evoke feelings of honest down to earth sweetness. In kitchens all over the world, cooks try recreate the real, old fashioned cinnamon roll. This recipe is one such re-creation.
