Beef Stew In Brief
Beef stews can be prepared in their most basic form from a number of different cuts of beef, combined with a liquid base which will usually be beef stock. They can also, however, be made to incorporate a wide variety of vegetables, herbs or spices, to suit the taste of the cook and the subsequent diners. Beef stews are one-pot dishes and can provide a meal in themselves, making them extremely simple and convenient to create. They are often associated with being comfort foods on cold Winter evenings but in reality can be made and enjoyed all year round - regardless of what the weather is like outside.
